Attain Capital Management (“Attain”) is a specialized asset management firm focusing on unique alternative investments in markets around the globe. Launched in 2002, Attain's business has been built upon the belief that an investment portfolio with exposure to alternative investments such as technical based trading systems and managed futures programs can consistently outperform traditional stock, bond, and real estate portfolios.

My duties at Attain revolve around keeping the company financially strong and loaded with top talent; but I am never far from the client - reviewing their portfolios, talking on the phone, or meeting face to face when traveling.

I am also the chief investment officer for Attain Portfolio Advisors - www.apa-cta.com a registered Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA) with about $60 Million under management currently. In this role, I get to use the statistics and math I enjoy, constantly testing new methods and techniques in an attempt to drive positive returns no matter the economic climate.

I earned the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst, CAIA, designation in 2005. The CAIA designation promotes adherence to high standards of professional conduct and certifies one’s mastery of the concepts, tools and practices essential for understanding traditional and modern alternative investment vehicles; including real estate, private equity, commodities, hedge funds and managed futures. www.caia.org
